Goatboy here with a 40K Chaos Knight Infernal Lance build, that was wrecking shop on the tournament scene in the UK!
Goatboy with an army list from this last week’s pile of 40K events. The biggest event was the Leeds 40k Super Major which had 273 players trying to get the win. It was won by a Josh Roberts and his Ultramarine build but the armylist I want to talk about is the Chaos Knight list that went undefeated and took second place. It wasn’t a Lords of Dread List and instead went with a very aggressively built Infernal Lance build.
This list is all about wrecking you with efficient options and utilizing its Malefic surge to over power interactions. This could mean Knights going extremely fast or your double Gatling Despoilers going full Lethal on their shooting attacks. I really like Ratnu Vaidya’s list as it just screams brutal efficiency. Its ally load out is also great as you can easily shove your knights across the table as you gross Nurgle friends do the good work of doing actions, scoring objectives, and just being pains in the butt.

Ratnu Vaidya’s Chaos Knights Infernal Lance Tactics
Hey look at how the Atrapos is also good in Chaos Knights. This list shoves a lot of bodies into the mid table and hopes some Yolo’ing Rampagers and Karnivores get there and start wrecking thru the enemy’s army. This army feels nice and fun to pilot as it is just a bunch of giant jerks, their small toddler children, and then their “pets” who are running around their feet. Good job Ratnu as I am sure that field was full of brutal match ups and congrats to Josh for winning it all in the end.
