Warhammer 40K: Grey Knights Rules – New Nemesis Dreadknight Weapons Revealed

July 24, 2025

The Grand Master of the Grey Knights are getting new weapon upgrade options for the Nemesis Dreadknights. Enemies will be purged!

When it comes to killing Daemons and banishing entities back into the Warp the Grey Knights are the Imperium’s best weapons. They are sanctified and righteous — but also bring some of the deadliest armament to bare. The Grand Masters of the Chapter also have access to the insane weapons systems of the Nemesis Dreadknights. And if you thought they were juiced up before, in the new Codex, they are getting a few upgrades.

“When daemonic infestation is at a lethal level, the towering horrors that spill forth into reality may be too much for even the mighty Paladins to deal with, which is where the Nemesis Dreadknight strides in. An exoskeleton created from an adamantine-alloy skeleton with ceramite armour, a Dreadknight can only be compelled to move by the psychic power of its pilot. Advances by the Techmarines of Titan have furnished these exoframes with new weapons crafted to capitalise on the prodigious psychic power of the Grand Masters of the Chapter.”

Kicking things off we have the new Sublimator which is essentially a quad-melta that’s ALSO psychically charged. Because being melta wasn’t potent enough. You can see the stats above but let’s also take a look at the keywords it has: Melta 4, Psychic, and Twin-linked. Yikes. You do NOT want to get caught in the crosshairs of the Grand Master who’s packing one of these. That’s more than true if you’re within half range of one of these weapons. The damage potential is crazy!

If you thought the Sublimator was terrifying the Nemesis Mace and Flails are also rather gnarly!  They each have slightly different purposes but the results can both be devastating. The Nemesis Mace is arguably better for taking out characters thanks to it’s own trio of keyword abilities. The Nemesis Flail is better for taking on swarms of troops. But if I’m being honest, a massive hunk of metal that large is going to hurt the target regardless! These things are built to do serious harm.

The new Grand Master piloting a Nemesis Dreadknight is coming soon. These new upgrades are sure to do a number on the enemies of the Imperium — daemonic or otherwise!

Because Nemesis Dreadknights weren’t scary enough.
