Atomic Mass Games is continuing the Delta Squad Rules Previews. Today we get a look at RC-1140 “Fixer” from this elite commando unit.
We already got a look at the leader of Delta Squad with Boss and his rules preview. Now we’re getting a closer look at the Clone Commando that can ensure things go smoothly — or at least fix them up after a mess gets made. RC-1140 “Fixer” is here to be ensure the mission gets done right.
“Analytical and no-nonsense, Fixer is the squad’s systems expert and tactical linchpin. He isn’t interested in flair. He’s here to get the job done right.”
Delta Squad – RC-1140 “Fixer” Rules Preview
Kicking things off we have the first ability on Fixer’s card Grab Yourself Some Bacta, Trooper. This is a handy ability that allows an allied Clone Trooper a Recover and then a Dash. Now, if you remember Boss and his abilities, you can see how this recover/dash combo is going to play into that. Next up we have Forming Up, Sir. It grants another Clone Trooper unit a Hunker after they end a move within Range 3 of Fixer. Bonus defense is always nice.
Now, if you want to get into the more offensive abilities there’s String’em Along And We’ll Mop’em Up. This is a way to add additional dice to an attack. You get to add 1 die to an attack for each Delta Squad Unit (other than the attacker) that’s also within range 5 and Line of Sight to the target. That’s a nice little boost in attack power for minimal effort — just remember to use it!
Finally, we have Watch The Master At Work. This innate ability ensures that Fixer can sway objectives to your favor in the case of a tie. It might not seem like a power-play because it’s subtle — but it’s a callback to the fact that Fixer is very mission focused.
Fixer’s Tactical Supremacy
Fixer’s stance card also showcases how effect he can be. For starters, he’s got 7 dice for range or melee. And what’s neat is that his damage track can either lean into the damage or survivability. Fixer’s tree isn’t that flashy but it’s effective. I can appreciate a trooper that knows how to execute his job well.
The Delta Squad Pack is currently up for Pre-order with a release date of August 22, 2025.
