The occult world Etharis, better known as Grim Hollow, comes to D&D Beyond, bringing with it just so many subclasses.
The world of Grim Hollow is full of occult strangeness and dark fantasy adventures. It’s a cursed place, where you’ll find all sorts of twisted creatures lurking in the waiting darkness that haunts the world. Etharis is also full of power, just waiting for those daring enough to take it. And, as you’ll discover in the new Grim Hollow: Player’s Guide, that power can take many, many forms.
Because this new book is packed to the absolute brim with new options for players. 40 new subclasses alone—all balanced for the 5.5E rulesets (so you don’t have to convert to play with the latest rules)—would be enough. But you get so much more in this new Player’s Guide. If you’re looking to expand your games of D&D, with a decidedly grim vibe, this might be the book you’re looking for.
Grim Hollow: Player’s Guide
This isn’t the first time the world of Etharis has come to D&D Beyond. Ghostfire Gaming has a few titles on the platform. But this is by far the biggest. The Grim Hollow: Player’s Guide is packed with potent player options. Including a slew of new subclasses.
That’s probably the biggest draw here. Though by no means are they the only draw. There is so much here. You’ll find 21 new species—and in true D&D fashion, you’ll find another take on Dhampirs, and other “cursed souls” like the wulven or the arisen. Etharis is a world that can’t help but beckon darker characters. And Grim Hollow is, well, grim.
