Warhammer 40K: Lady Malys Leads The Charge – New Are Drukhari On The Way

September 8, 2025

The Dark Aeldari are finally getting their new Codex. To celebrate there are a pair of new kits coming, a combat patrol, and more!

When it comes to the Drukhari fans have been waiting to hear from the Dark City for a while. Well now we know what the denizens of Commorragh have been up to. They have a new codex inbound along with a pair of new/updated characters, a battleforce, a combat patrol, and more rule changes ahead, too!

“The Drukhari have been biding their time in the depths of Commorragh, but it’s finally time to launch the raid and drink deep of the galaxy’s misery – Codex: Drukhari is on its way! At the fore is a character long known for her quicksilver intellect and violent tendencies, who now steps onto the battlefield with a wicked weave of schemes and strategies to confound her prey.”

Lady Malys & New Archon Miniature for the Drukhari

First up, we have a new miniature of Lady Malys. Archon of the Poisoned Tongue she’s got more than just silvery barbs in the form of harsh words. Packing a slender blade and a deadly fan of razor sharp knives she’s bound to be deadly. And that’s before you account for the poisons she’s packing.

I really like the new miniature and the pose. I also like the fact that you’ve got a pair of head options to choose from — the veil adds that extra mystique to the character. And yes, I’m totally getting some Princess Kitana vibes from the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Also getting a new miniature is the Archon. This new plastic kit comes with a bunch of various heads, wargear, and extras.

I like that this one is highly customizable so you can load them up how you would like them for your own Kabal. We’ll have to wait and see what ends up being a good load-out once we get the full rules for them.

New Drukhari Battleforce & Combat Patrol

On top of the new miniatures and codex, we’re also getting a pair of new boxed sets. First up is the Realspace Raiders Battleforce. This will be a great way to jumpstart the army and the first place to get your hands on the new Archon.

Inside the box you’ll find the Archon along with 10 Wyches, 10 Kabalite Warriors, a group of five Hellions, five Scourges, five Incubi, and a Venom transport. This really is a splash of just about everything from the Drukhari. What could be missing? Aside from some Incubi, how about the contents of the up coming Combat Patrol box?

The new Combat Patrol is bringing in a pair of Talos/Cronos (one of each for the Combat Patrol) led by a Haemonculus. Oh and lets not forget those 10 Wracks included as well!

Finally, we also get a bit of news as to what you can expect from the contents of the codex:

“This includes five Detachments and a revamped Power from Pain Army Rule that spends points to activate unique Pain abilities found on every datasheet.”

A new version of Power from Pain? I’m curious how they are going to implement it this time around. It’s not the only ability that makes the army tick but it’s certainly an important one to get right!

And with that, the final Codex for 10th edition is on the way. Could GW be packing more secrets later? Perhaps. But for now the Drukhari players out there can celebrate as their long wait has finally ended.

It only took an entire edition for them to get new codex!
