Update 10.2 for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been published on September 19, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive made a couple of smaller balance adjustments and bugfixes in this patch, but there are some notable changes to highlight.
The Heroic Chainsword has been rebalanced with its base stats and Light-Heavy-Heavy combo having been reworked. Snipers should be aware that the activation cost for their camo cloak has been adjusted. Players engaging in PvE modes will notice that the spawn rate of Chaos Spawn has been reduced, bringing the monstrosities on par with Tyranid Warriors in this regard.

Camo Cloak’s activation cost:
The activation cost of the Sniper ability has been changed. Now it works this way:
“With the right perk set up, you can still do 5-6 cloak cancels in a row. Cloak cancel will still be very rewarding to learn and to do, but you won’t be able to abuse it endlessly while staying invisible and invulnerable to enemies,” the developers commented on this change via Steam.
