Games Workshop Rumor Engine: Getting More Fisticuffs

September 23, 2025

It looks like someone is getting into some fist fighting. But who’s swinging this one around in the latest Games Workshop Rumor Engine?

It’s another Tuesday and that means a brand new Rumor Engine to try and figure out from Games Workshop. Today’s image looks a whole lot like a mechanical fist. But don’t take my word for it — see for yourself!

“This is the most blatant one yet. We’re not even going to insult your intelligence with a riff.

Whose nose is this?”

Rumor Engine – Getting More Fisticuffs

Yeah…I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this one isn’t a nose. Given the fact that we can see the arm, powered glove, and mechanical fingers. Then again, I don’t know what kind of noses they have on the Rumor Engine crew. Can they touch smells?

ANYHOW, this one sure looks like it’s from the 40k side of things. There’s a few factions out there that would use a mechanical glove like this one. I think we can rule out the Tyranids and Aeldari to start though.

If I had to hazard a guess (and I kind of do because that’s why we do these Rumor Engines to begin with) I’d say this belongs to someone that’s Imperial or Imperial Adjacent. To narrow it down further, I think those markings sure look like the Leagues of Votann to me.

Now, I don’t know if this arm is from one of the living members or one of their Ironkin. This being a Rumor Engine, it’s going to be from a completely new unit anyhow. So there’s that.

Heck, it could be some other augmented unit, too. I also don’t know if this is exclusively a 40k unit or if it could be from one of the splinter games like Kill Team or Necromunda. Throwing those in the mix would certainly open up new options for sure.

For now, I’m sticking with my gut on this one. I’m going with the Leagues of Votann — I just don’t know what else it could be. So here’s where I kick it over to you! If you’ve got any ideas drop us a line in the comments with your theories.

Is it a power claw? But not a power KLAW?
