Games Workshop: Friendly Reminder Shipping Date Cut-offs

December 8, 2025

Just a friendly reminder that Games Workshop has shipping cut-off dates if you want to get a package before Christmas!

I know we already talked about this but I feel pretty strongly about reminding folks about this issue. If you want to get a gift or package under the tree this Christmas then you’re going to want to act quick. Parts of the EU and “the rest of the world” already hit the Cut-off Date. The clock is going to be ticking for the rest of the world.

“These dates differ by region – please note that these are the UPS shipping dates, and that your local mail service may have slightly different dates.”

Again, these are the dates listed by Games Workshop and apply to them. However, depending on where you’re ordering from, I have a funny feeling these dates also apply to LOTS of other shippers. So if you’re wanting to do some online shopping in general, you might want to get those orders in sooner rather than later.

Alternatively, you can also pop into your FLGS or local Warhammer Store. I’m sure they’d love the business and can also help you find a gift for the gamer in your life. Worst case, you can at least pick-up some gift cards/gift vouchers and put those under the tree. I know it’s less personal than a physical product but it’s better than buying something that the gamer in your life can’t actually use.

Here’s a real life anecdote that happened to me as an example. A friend of mine tried to buy me a unit box of Eternal/Glade Guard for a birthday once. While I appreciated the gesture, I was already maxed out on those for my Wood Elf army at the time. I also hadn’t played that army in years at that point. Thankfully, I was able to stop him before final purchase and point him towards a unit box I COULD use.

It wasn’t this box. But these are back for The Old World…

The point is that sometimes those gift cards/vouchers are actually a better idea. Especially if you were like my friend who didn’t know anything about Warhammer at the time. Just ask them what they want or can use and get that. Don’t try to surprise them. And please keep those shipping cut-off dates in mind!
