Age of Sigmar: New Death Battletomes & Underworld’s New Expansion

July 19, 2025

Games Workshop has a bunch of products planned for the Age of Sigmar. Death is on the rise and the woods are full of spite!

The Big Summer Preview was yesterday and incase you missed the big Warhammer: Age of Sigmar news we’ve got you covered. Check out the upcoming releases from the Death Grand Alliance.

Flesh-Eater Courts

The Flesh-Eater Courts are on the prowl once more. This time their new Battletome is dropping with a new character: The High Falconer Felgryn. Under the dilluison that he’s still a noble Falconer, he’s got a flock alright…of BATS! Also arriving around the same time as the new Battletome is their new Charnel Watch Spearhead box. Packed with lots of grotesque options for expanding an existing force or starting a new one.

Nighthaunt

Mirroring the Flesh-Eater Courts release we’re seeing the rise of the Nighthaunt once more. This new Battletome is being accompanied by the long-teased character of Lord Vitriolic. His potion-mixing powers could be very useful on the tabletop. Furthermore, there’s a new Cursed Shacklehorde for their new Spearhead, too. Everyone is also going to benefit from an improved Ward save. I can’t wait to see what other rules tweaks are in store for the Nighthaunt.

Warhammer Underworlds: Spitewood

Just in time for the launch of the awesome new Helsmiths of Hashut, we’re getting the next expansion for Warhammer: Underworlds. Spitewood sees the Helsmiths face off against some more Kurnoth’s Heralds. You know, both sides of this fight does seem to have a thing for centaurs. Anyhow, the new expansion is a great intro for new and returning players.

More Underworlds Warband Boxes

And finally we have four new Warband Combo boxes. One box for each Grand Alliance. Each box also comes with four warbands inside with a lot of returning favorites repackaged for the current set of Warhammer: Underworlds. There’s also an updated card pack set coming so you can play these warbands if you already have the miniatures from a previous release.

Loads of cool stuff for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and Underworlds. I can’t wait for the new Nighthaunt Battletome!
