Age of Sigmar: Order & Chaos Battleforce Pricing Breakdown

October 13, 2025

Games Workshop’s new Battleforce Boxes for Age of Sigmar could end up being a sweet deal. But how much savings are we looking at?

We already took a look at the Death and Destruction Battleforces. Now it’s time to give Order and Chaos the same treatment. These boxes look like great ways to start a new army. The real question is how much of a deal are we going to end up with? That’s a tough one. We don’t have a final price point for these and honestly there’s a good chance GW prices these all at different levels anyhow.

So we’re going to do the array thing and see the savings at different points. Once the final price comes out, it will be pretty simple to determine the savings. With that said, let’s dive in!

Outcast Spitegrove – Sylvaneth Battleforce Pricing Breakdown

Contents

Drycha $65

Spirit of Durthu $82

15x Spite-Revenants $180

20x Dryads $75

Total Individual MSRP $402

Total Estimated Savings

  • $240 = $162
  • $260 = $142
  • $280 = $122

This battleforce looks like a fantastic way to kick off a Sylvaneth army. The only thing I’m a little iffy on are the 15 Spite-Revenants. But I do like those miniature and they can be alternatively be built as Tree-Revenants. Also, the same can be said for the Spirit of Durthu which can be a Treelord or Ancient. That’s actually one of things I like about this box as those units can be other units.

Still, I can’t really recommend getting more than one of these. You only need one Drycha. The Dryads are also odd because that box is normally for 16 miniatures but his set comes with 20. In anycase, I’d still say this is a good pick-up and pairs nicely with the Spearhead, too.

Skyre Warpspawn – Skaven Battleforce Pricing Breakdown

Contents

Arch-Warlock $40

20x Stormvermin $120

Ratling Warpblaster $60

3x Warplock Jezzails $53

5x Acolyte Globadiers $60

Warpspark Weapon Battery $53

Total Individual MSRP $386

Total Estimated Savings

  • $240 = $146
  • $260 = $126
  • $280 = $106

I’m not a Skaven player but this seems to have a pretty broad mix of Skaven units. Furthermore, the Warpspark Weapon Battery can be assembled as a few different options. That said, if you like Stormvermin and warplock weapons, this is a great way to start that army. Again, pairing this with the Spearhead seems like a good call. Additionally, there’s likely some other nice bundles you can find for the Skaven thanks to the Starter Sets for AoS. Really, Skaven are an easy army to amass. It’s painting all those rats that’s the real challenge!

Is it finally time for me to attempt a Sylvaneth army?
