
It’s been a quiet year for Dungeons & Dragons so far, but it looks like that’s all about to change now. D&D officially unveiled its 2026 roadmap, showing off a number of books for 2026 and giving a glimpse at its new “Seasons” approach to launching content for the popular tabletop RPG.
After releasing a number of campaign books at a breakneck pace as the initial 5e run dwindled, the 2024 rule changes (and subsequent core rulebook releases) made it feel like there were almost too many releases happening. Since that rules revamp, however, D&D has slowed down a bit, balancing sourcebooks with new adventures quite well.
Right now, there are three books confirmed for release in 2026, and one of them — Ravenloft: The Horrors Within — even has a concrete release date already. Those books are:
Arcana Unleashed will be a more magic-centric sourcebook, and its adventure expansion will likewise have magic as a focal point. Ravenloft has proven to be an incredibly popular setting, so it makes sense that D&D would add more content for it.
