Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere RPG is now available, offering a new way to experience his fantasy epic, The Stormlight Archive. Sanderson is known for his prolific nature, releasing hefty fantasy tomes in rapid succession, and the new game adds to that pile of material. The tabletop game brings the world of Roshar to life, with further material dealing with Mistborn and more coming later.
As announced by DriveThruRPG on Bluesky, Cosmere RPG books and materials can now be purchased on DriveThruRPG and used on digital platforms like Roll20. This includes a handbook that covers the rules of the game and a Stormlight World Guide providing details and art for the world of Roshar. Kickstarter backers also have access to this digital content starting today.

While the materials released so far are only part of the Cosmere RPG‘s plans, they cover everything needed to know to run a game connected to The Stormlight Archive. In addition to the Stormlight Handbook and World Guide, the Stonewalkers and Bridge Nine adventures are now available, along with a session zero “First Step” adventure and a shorter Welcome to Roshar Guide. Options like digital tokens or STL files for 3D-printing miniatures can assist with play.

Physical fulfillment of Kickstarter rewards is currently set to start in September, so there’s still a bit of time to go on that front. After Kickstarter rewards have been fulfilled, the physical books will also be available at retail, which is planned to happen before the holidays. Cosmere RPG books set in the world of Mistborn, meanwhile, won’t be coming until 2026.
