New modes, new maps, new enemies, new weapons and more?! Space Marine 2 Year 2 is kicking off soon. This anniversary update is looking good!
To celebrate the one year anniversary of Space Marine 2 there’s a ton of free content coming right now to the game. There’s also some quality of life improvements on the way, too. But first…let’s enjoy this visual feast.
We celebrate the one-year anniversary of the game with a ton of free new content. There are new game modes, new missions, maps, enemies, weapons, and plenty of quality-of-life improvements. Updates include:
Space Marine 2 Anniversary Update
As you can see this is a pretty big update. And yes, this is a free update. The new modes, maps, and enemies are all available for players to face off against. The six unique Chaos Champion skins are unlocks you get for playing the Eternal War mode. This is all good, in-game content for players to experience. There No extra DLC to purchase to access this content.
Now we covered this in the Year 2 Roadmap overview. But again, to reiterate, the only paid portion of the season pass is for cosmetics. Those don’t have any impact on gameplay.
That said, the new skins are pretty sick. The anniversary update does bring in two new paid DLCs you can purchase: The Black Templar Champion Pack and the Imperial Fist Cosmetic Pack.
“The former includes a new Champion skin for the Bulwark class and a power sword skin, while the latter adds over 40 new cosmetics and heraldry markings celebrating the Imperial Fists and seven successor Chapters.”
And yeah…those look pretty darn cool. Also, shout out to the Crimson Fist cosmetics included in the Imperial Fist pack. I also voted for Pedro!
With all the new free stuff coming and the new paid stuff available you might be thinking that it’s a good time to give this game a go. And it is. In fact, there’s a deal going on with the Focus Publisher Weekend:
