Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has unleashed it’s Year 2 Roadmap. Are you ready to see what battles lie ahead?
If you thought Space Marine 2’s first year was a banger well get ready for another round! The roadmap for the second year has been previewed and it’s looking like a mighty battle plan!
“Space Marines know one thing only: eternal war in the Emperor’s name. We’re approaching the first anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and after nine major updates filled with missions, game modes, weapons, and cosmetics, the second year of content kicks off on 4th September with Patch 10.”
Space Marine 2 Year 2 Roadmap
First up, I just want to point out that there’s a ton of free updates planned. Unlike many other games that lock the new missions behind expansions or paid DLC, Space Marine 2 includes these new PvE and PvP updates for everyone’s who’s purchased the game. The Season Pass II will offer up paid cosmetic options — again, those are optional and have no impact on gameplay.
Personally, I’m looking forward to see what sorts of crazy champion packs and cosmetics will be made available. All the while, we’ll be able to enjoy the actual gameplay as it get’s released.
“Patch 10 adds three new weapons, a mind-bending new PVE mission, new Stratagems for PvE, a new PVP game mode to shake up your gameplay – with a playable Helbrute! – and loads more. “
I’m sorry, what?! We get to play as a Hellbrute? Sure! I’m in. Also, later on down the line there’s a new class coming to the game: The Techmarine! That’s going to be a nice change of pace. I can’t wait to see what sorts of crazy executions we get with that one. Please tell me we get the servo-arm to crush things with!
Anyhow, this second year looks to be pretty exciting. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need jump back in and keep pushing in the PvE Siege mode from Patch 9. We must break the enemy waves upon the shield of our duty!
For the Emperor!!!!
