Weekend PC Download Deals for June 20: GOG.com and Blizzard Summer Sales

July 5, 2025

The Summer Sales are getting ready to start and two major online retailers are getting things started. GOG.com is getting the best of DRM-free PC gaming out in front of everyone with over 8,000 games on sale. That includes major hits like Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, as well as classics like the newly added Devil May Cry 1-4 bundle. And over in this corner, you’ll find Blizzard’s Battle.net, starting off its Summer Sale with deals on Blizzard classics like World of Warcraft and Diablo 4, as well as Xbox’s Avowed and Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Steam, meanwhile, has gone fishing. The Steam Fishing Fest is underway featuring the best games that offer a relaxing fishing experience. However, there’s much more on Steam this weekend. Check out publisher sales from EA, THQ Nordic, Koei Tecmo, Klei, and many others. Plus, some new releases are on sale and you can also check out free weekends for games like Dead by Daylight.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can’t enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
